JOSE K SELECTA: A dedicated Local and international  DJ using the art of deejaying as the main tool of changing my life and community at large

Creatively using Mixtapes as the platform to launch his career, JOSEPH KALIISA SSENKUMBA aka JOSE K SELECTA has since become one of the most prominent and globally recognized good DJ. Born in Kampala, Uganda in 1992, JOSE SELECTA began Deejaying at the age of 16, creating Mixtapes in his bedroom and then personally distributing the CD’s in the streets of bukunda , kyanamukaka & masaka town, Kampala Uganda .

In 2018, ''JOSE K SELECTA'' founded JOSE K PROMOTIONS UGANDA and later changed into JOSE K GROUP. His dreams, aspirations and visionary leadership have catapulted JOSE K GROUP into a globally recognized music, entertainment brand and youth small business.
In that case  I influenced the young generation in creating some small businesses and discover and building their talents.
In 2021 I stand in Uganda general elections on the position of Najjankumbi  youth chairperson which I won and later in 2024 I was appointed as omutongole (LC 1 Buganda kingdom) in same village by King of Buganda Ronald Muwenda Mutebi "The Kabaka"  

Influenced by PVJ Ange3l in Kampala Uganda, his unique mixes ''The Gospel Reggea Vybz'' quickly gained a huge following around the country and abroad.

JOSE K SELECTA is also the Executive Direct of Jose K Group. Due to it’s success, Kikadde Video Mix. To date, Jose k selecta's mixes continue to record over 1000 listens a day and cumulatively over 1 million.
