Samson Strings, a rising gospel singer-songwriter and bow harpist from Uganda, is also known as Samson K. Mukisa, MD. His musical steps began at age nine when he affirmed his faith at Sonship Ministries Church, led by Pr. Sarah Byekwaso. Supported by Directors Paul and Molly M. Wasswa, Samson attended New Kabale Busega P/S, Lubiri SS, and later Makerere University.
In 2012, a friendship with Ronald Kayiza from the Pearl of Africa Children's Choir unlocked a newfound passion: the Adungu, or bow harp, whose mastery inspired him to release independent soul-stirring spiritual songs, refining his musical art with precious listener feedback.
His 2022 premier on the Talk-The-Walk Show paved the way for his first sponsored live performance at Life Changing Church Ndejje, fueling the launch of his debut single, "Ye Mukama Ow'ekisa," in 2024. Introducing his unique bow-harp-infused sound on the official music scene cements his stage name and furthers his philanthropic mission.
