This is the first collaboration between A Pass and Ykee Benda ever since the two started their music careers not more than 7 years ago.
It is a known secret that these two could be among the most talented musicians in Uganda, no doubt about that. It is not clear who begged who for the collabo but A Pass was the first to claim that Ykee Benda paid him 10 million shillings in his own words below;
“After being paid Shs10m by Ykee Benda to do a song with him, I have a feeling he will get back his money on Monday when the song drops because this is a super hit song… in TweniTweni, am ready for more collabos with other Ugandan artistes, just pay me and I make you big,” reads a post on A Pass’ timeline.
But Ykee Benda also later came out and said that he was paid a whopping 12 million shillings to make a collabo with A Pass so at this point we should say both of them paid themselves.
Being masters at their singing game, the reggae-dancehall song, whose lyrics are in Luganda and English, has an old-skool touch with a message of having a positive vibe and always being happy.
