NBS TV news anchor and senior investigative journalist, Canary Mugume has assured online in-laws that his intentions for Sasha Ferguson are wholly pure.
The newly weds were officially pronounced husband and wife at Miracle Centre Rubaga by Pr. Robert Kayanja last weekend.
After this, the couple treated their guests to a flamboyant wedding reception at Speke Resort.
However, a number of fans were dubious about the couple's strong affection for each other with many wondering if Mugume had hidden intentions in Sasha.
The 26 year old however came out, days after being wed to assure worried fans that his intentions are entirely pure and well meaning.
"I've got only pure intentions for her and she knows. And I know that she knows that I know she knows " Mugume wrote.
The couple have been dating for over five years, having met eight years ago when Sasha was only 17 years.
By then, she was working at WBS TV and Mugume was simply a young man working with an events company, BUZZ.
When the events company visited WBS TV to promote a youth show, the two met and that was the Genesis of their love story
“We met when I was still at WBS TV and he was with BUZZ Events company. They came to the station to promote a teen’s show and I was asked to handle them. That was the beginning of us.” Sasha revealed while speaking in an earlier interview.

Apparently, the two have been in love since day one and it seems there is no turning back.
