Liverpool goalkeeper Alisson Becker has rejected a move to Saudi Pro league side Al Nassr.
Al Nassr are interested in Alisson and are keen on signing a goalkeeper in the summer transfer window. However, Alisson has turned down the proposal from Al Nassr as he is not interested in leaving Liverpool.
Ever since Alisson Becker completed his move from AS Roma to Liverpool back in July 2018, he has become one of the best goalkeepers in the world.
Alisson has made 250 appearances for Liverpool so far, keeping 114 clean sheets while conceding 236 goals. He has also scored a goal, with the strike earning Liverpool a win over West Bromwich Albion.
David Ospina is currently the first choice goalkeeper for Al Nassr. He is one of the best players at the Saudi Pro League club. It seems Ospina is going to be replaced in this summer transfer window since Al Nassr has been targeting several shot stoppers in the last few weeks.
Al Nassr have also been linked with Wojciech Szczesny but the move seems unlikely since the talks collapsed some days back.
Alisson Becker has thus emerged as a viable target for the Saudi Pro League outfit, but, the Liverpool goalkeeper has rejected their approach.
It has also been reported that Liverpool will not listen to offers to sell Alisson, with the veteran goalkeeper not interested in moving to Saudi Arabia or leaving Liverpool.
ARSENAL INTERESTED IN LUNIN
According to reports in Spain, Arsenal are interested in signing Real Madrid goalkeeper Andriy Lunin this summer.
Lunin thrived for Real Madrid last season during the absence of Thibaut Courtois and Kepa Arrizabalaga. He played a big part in the Spanish side's victorious Champions League campaign.
Due to his excellent performances, a number of clubs are reported to be interested in signing him. Arsenal are one of the clubs said to be pursuing the shot stopper with an 'offer' on the table.
Reports claim that Lunin has a 'cold' relationship with Carlo Ancelotti and, as a result, could be ready to part ways with the club this summer.
Lunin played for Dnipro and Zorya Luhansk before moving to Real Madrid in 2018, in a deal worth up to €13.5 million. He struggled for game time at the Bernabeu, and spent three successive years on loan at various Spanish clubs.
Arsenal may not be able to offer Lunin guaranteed minutes due to Raya's impressive form towards the end of the season, but Lunin may be attracted to the idea of competing with Raya for the number one spot.
