While giving a speech at the welcoming ceremony of the Archbishop of the Church of Uganda the Right Reverend Dr. Steven Kazimba Mugalu to kinkizi diocese, the former prime minister John Patrick Amama Mbabazi hinted on his relationship with president Museveni, in a way that left many buffled and totally confused.
In his remarks, Amama Mbabazi said he has no problem working with the president, much as the two disagree on a number of issues. He continued to say that while running against the incumbent in the 2016 presidential elections under his then formed Go4ward party, he(Mbabazi) still considered Museveni a good person, despite the fact that people thought the two were still eating from the same plate.
"Individuals should not judge each other but rather concentrate on reconciling egos and building peace if real development is to be achieved." said Amama Mbabazi. The two have of recent been spotted together; at the swearing in ceremony of President Museveni in May last year, Amama Mambazi was present in flesh at Kololo. They were again spotted together at a function about a month ago.
Should we now believe the rumors that these two are playing mind games to Ugandans or we should mind our business?
