Angela Katatumba has always given off the strong woman vibe. She never lets things like heartbreaks take her down, according to public opinion. The saga of her break up with singer Daddy Andre serves as an example of how Angela deals with relationship disappointments.
Maybe this is how the public has perceived it because according to Angela, it is a different story. During the NBS After Five show, Angela came out about some of her most challenging times.
Angela Katatumba mentioned that there was once a time that she nearly starved to death after having been dumped by the love of her life, leaving her with a null bank account that read zero balance and she therefore resorted to feeding on Ice cubes for an entire three weeks.
This was a time when she was in the USA and survival was challenging for her because she had no friends near her to turn to for help and yet she felt too ashamed to call back home and ask for financial help from the Katatumbas. Angella felt like a clown since she was nursing a heartbreak which even made her feel more worthless.
"I could not call back home to ask for financial help from my parents because I felt ashamed of the situation I had landed in. I was a grown dumped woman with no financial stability and to make matters worse, I was low on self esteem because of my failed relationship. I therefore resorted to chewing Ice cubes for a whole three weeks in order to survive." Angella Katatumba said.
She however mentioned that it was only the grace of God that pulled her out of such a situation and we'll as you all can see, she came back tougher and stronger. This is proof that Whatever doesn't kill you makes you stronger.ngela Katatumba image widget
