Apostle Grace Lubega and Team Secure Guinness World Record with Marathon Clapping Event

Lugogo, August 26, 2023 - Apostle Grace Lubega and his dedicated team have etched their names into the annals of history with an awe-inspiring feat of continuous clapping. On July 30th, 2023, the UMA Multipurpose Hall in Lugogo witnessed an extraordinary event as Apostle Grace Lubega and his team embarked on a record-breaking clapping marathon, lasting an astonishing 3 hours, 16 minutes, and 1 second. This remarkable accomplishment has now been officially verified by Guinness World Records.

The venture into this unique record was met with a spectrum of reactions, sparking discussions across social media platforms and online forums. While some skeptics voiced suspicions of self-promotion, others with a more open-minded perspective delved into the heart of the matter, encapsulated in the event's very title - 'Clap for Jesus.'

Apostle Grace Lubega, the Vision Bearer of Phaneroo Ministries International, offered insight into the motivation behind the unprecedented endeavor.

"If there's anything we can do to give glory to God, we will do it," Apostle Grace expressed.

He added that the record-breaking applause was dedicated to Jesus, highlighting that future inquiries into history would reveal the reason behind the longest applause ever recorded.

During that momentous Sunday afternoon, the team, comprising at least a thousand participants, embarked on a journey of making history through rhythmic applause. As the UMA showgrounds buzzed with energy, thousands more rallied in the parking lot, engaging in dance, song, prayer, and worship from the designated overflow area.

Simultaneously, participants around the world joined in via the Phaneroo YouTube channel and Manifest Television, united by a shared goal of elevating God through this unorthodox act of celebration.

The event not only cemented the team's place in the record books but also served as a testament to the power of collective faith and the diverse ways in which people express their devotion. Apostle Grace Lubega and his team have redefined applause as an instrument of worship, turning a simple gesture into a historic moment that will resonate with generations to come.
