Benjamin Sesko is set to sign a new contract with RB Leipzig, his current contract has a £55 million release clause. The new contract will make him one of RB Leipzig's top earners.

Elvis Basanovic, his agent, communicated to the interested clubs that Benjamin Sesko will be staying at RB Leipzig this summer. His new deal will also include a gentleman's agreement with RB Leipzig that will enable him to move onto greener pastures for a fair price in the future.
Benjamin Sesko made it clear in recent weeks that if he were to leave RB Leipzig, Arsenal would be his preferred destination. Reports claim that Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester United were all prepared to meet his buy out clause.
However before even the announcement of extending his contract was made, his agent had already made it clear before that there was every chance he would remain at RB Leipzig to continue his impressive development after hitting 18 goals in all competitions this season.
Benjamin Sesko was not Arsenal's only target despite being at the top of their shortlist.
