Hot from the #togikwatako campaign and a 3 session suspension from Parliament of Uganda, Hon.Robert Kyagulanyi aka Bobi Wine is living under life threat.
The past two days have not been good for him as grenades have been thrown at his home in Magere twice. At first he ignored the occurrences until the one of last night where three handmade grenades went off a few meters away from his son's bedroom. Thereafter he went ahead to post all that had happened such that the whole world knows, he says some of his property has been destroyed though we can't ascertain the extent.
Police today sent a team of investigators who sealed off a small crime scene at Bobi's residence to try and assess what exactly happened. The musician said that he has also been receiving anonymous calls and text messages that have been issuing him death threats if he doesn't leave the #togikwatako campaign.
Another MP (Allan Sewananya) also found hand grenades at his home and said that this is a planned move to keep him busy as the constitution is being raped. The two opposition MPs today were expected to join the red ribbon campaign that is going to be spearheaded by former FDC party president Dr.Kizza Besigye.
