It has been reported that Saudi Pro league club Al Nassr are preparing a €150 million bid for Manchester United captain Bruno Fernandes.
Al Nassr are currently assessing their financial capabilities to sign the Portuguese midfielder in this summer transfer window. The club want to build a squad able to compete with Al Hilal for the Saudi Pro League title.
It has been reported that Al Nassr could try offering Bruno Fernandes a huge contract worth as much as €70-€80 million a year in order to lure him to Saudi Arabia.
Manchester United do not want to sell Bruno Fernandes but it remains to be seen whether a huge offer could change their minds.
However, Bruno Fernandes is not the only Manchester United player attracting interest from Saudi Pro League clubs. It has been reported that Casemiro has been linked with both Al Nassr and Al Ahli. Both teams are ready to pay around €40-€50 million to sign the experienced Brazil international in this summer transfer window.
Antony's future at the club is also uncertain but at the moment their is no significant update on the former Ajax winger's future.
Manchester United fans would not mind if Antony and Casemiro left the club, but keeping captain Bruno Fernandes has to be a priority for Manchester United this summer.
MANCHESTER UNITED INTERESTED IN JOAO NEVES.
Manchester United are also interested in signing SL Benfica younger star Joao Neves.
Joao Neves has been identified as a perfect midfielder who can mange the modern day Premier league game and would be a great signing for Manchester United.
Manchester United have already submitted a £51 million bid for Joao Neves which SL Benfica have rejected. The Portuguese giants are seeking for a fee of atleast £85 million.
It remains to be seen whether Manchester United can afford such a fee given the new Financial Fair Play and Profit & Sustainability regulations. The club may be able to sign Joao Neves if they generate enough money from sales and forego signing any other targets this summer.
The 19 year old made 55 appearances for SL Benfica in all competitions last season. He scored three goals and provided three assists throughout the campaign.
In the Portuguese league, he started 27 games and also came off the bench six times.
