Bruno Fernandes is pushing for a new contract at Manchester United amidst the increasing speculation about his future.
Bruno Fernandes has attracted interest from Bayern Munich and FC Barcelona following the news that due to Financial Fair Play concerns, Manchester United are open to selling all but three members of their first team squad.
However, Bruno Fernandes stated that he would be happy to stay at Manchester United but only if new co owner Sir Jim Ratcliffe and his INEOS colleagues want him to stay.
It has been reported that Bruno Fernandes' agent, Miguel Pinho, has already held talks with both Bayern Munich and FC Barcelona.
However, it has also been reported that Bruno Fernandes wants a new deal which would put him in the same wage bracket as team mates Marcus Rashford, Casemiro and Jadon Sancho.
Marcus Rashford roughly earns about £365,000 per week. His wage is slightly higher than that of Casemiro and Jadon Sancho who last played for Manchester United in August. Sancho earns about £300,000 per week.
Casemiro has been linked with a move to Saudi Arabia and Jadon Sancho spent the second half of the season at Borussia Dortmund.
REAL MADRID STILL WANT KEPA
It has been reported that Real Madrid want to bring back Chelsea goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga on another loan deal.
Kepa has one year left on his contract with Chelsea.
Kepa could return to Real Madrid as the back up goalkeeper again since Lunin is unhappy at being over looked for last weekend's Champion's League final and is open to a move away from Real Madrid.
Even with the new head coach Enzo Maresca at Chelsea, Kepa only wants to return if he is guaranteed of game time.
Real Madrid could get Kepa on another 12 months loan deal or sign him on a free transfer when his contract with Chelsea expires.
However, a free transfer seems unlikely as Chelsea is looking to raise cash through player sales.
COLWILL NEEDS CLARIFICATION ON HIS ROLE
It has also been reported that Chelsea centre back Levi Colwill is seeking assurances from new head coach Enzo Maresca over his role in the team. Talks will soon be held with Maresca and Chelsea officials.
Chelsea do not plan on selling Colwill but Liverpool and PSG are keen to make their interest known in case Colwill is not given the assurances he wants in the talks with Maresca.
Colwill's contract with Chelsea runs until 2029 with an option for a further 12 months.
