Fans were yesterday, Friday 3rd August, thrown into body numbing shock after seeing Omulangira Suna, commonly known as OS Suna shed crocodile tears during a press conference.
OS Suna, one of the most popular veteran artistes had organized a press conference, announcing his intention to sue Next Media Services for bad mouthing him live on Television.
What shocked fans the most was not the amount of money he was demanding (1 Billion Shs) but when he cried, like a baby live during the presser.
He lamented how Next Media particularly NBS TV was hell bent on tarnishing his image and brand after the show's hosts, Kayz, Annatalia Oze and Zahara Totto reported how he had resorted to dubious acts like witchcraft.
They also alleged that the artiste is faded and has no actual relevance in the music arena, which seems to have really got to the White House entertainment C.E.O.
OS Suna explained that it was high time media personalities stopped tarnishing the hard earned reputations of artistes and celebrities.
Celebrities React.
Socialite Shanitah Namuyimbwa (Bad Black) who is famous for her sumbie vending took to her social media calling OS Suna's crying 'extremely shameful.'
She wondered how a grown man would really shed tears in public just because someone talked about him.
"Even a man who cries just because he has been talked about is not easy. It could be true " she wrote on Instagram.
"You men should grow up. Stop shaming us " Black added.
However, Capital FM presenter, Lucky Mbabazi took pity on the aggrieved musician. She believes that it is alright for men to cry in public and society should style up
"Statements like "Real men don't cry in public" are one of the many reasons why the boy child grows into a man and struggles with depression." she explained.
Fans React.
However, netizens remain divided on the subject of whether it is okay for men to cry in public if what weighs them down is too heavy to carry.
An Instagram user, Iqram Musa (iqram_official_) believes crying is totally fine since it is one of the ways men can lessen their grief.
"No he is right. Journalists you have gone too far. That's the only way you can bring out anger. The more you cry, the better you feel." he posted
However, Musinguzi Benard, another social media user (@iam_ben_mk) thinks OS Suna is after money and the whole crying drama wasn't genuine.
"Oyo agagawadde nawe. Ayagala ssente." he commented on Bad Black's post on Instagram.
Others fans were however disappointed in Suna, reminding him that he is a man and crying is not an option no matter what.
