Centenary Bank named the worst bank by many customers.
    • April 26, 2021 • 4 years ago

Centenary bank is one of the biggest banks with so many branches.

It also has the most customers in Uganda with over 5000 people having accounts in the bank.

However, having many customers might be a bad thing for them.

Centenary bank has been named as the bank with the worst customer care.

Many have gone to open accounts at some of the branches and have found no one to help them.

"I once went to the Tirumpati branch to open my account. People were many and lines were long. No one explained to me the process or which account to open as a first timer. After that, we wanted to get our ATM cards but the lady giving those out had gone for a lunch break and no one else could do her job. We waited for 45 minutes with 10 other customers and it was annoying because I had other things to do."

Others have complained about it's online banking system never being available.

Now it is common if the online banking system is off once but not daily.

It might have the cheapest rates but maybe cheap is bad at a certain point.

Corporate companies need to work on their services otherwise they will lose out.

In the past Airtel has come out to be blasted by customers complaining of poor internet and mobile money.
