Tottenham Hotspur and Aston Villa are both keen to sign Chelsea's Conor Gallagher this summer.
Chelsea need funds to meet the sustainability requirements and could be motivated to sell the player. Gallagher is an academy raised player and would represent pure profit on their balance sheet if he is sold.
Gallagher has 12 months left on his contract but Chelsea are trying to tie him down to new terms. At the moment, there is no agreement in place.
Tottenham Hotspur can take advantage of Chelsea's position in terms of Profit & Sustainability requirements and Gallagher's contractual situation before the end of June.
However, there are no guarantees Spurs will continue to pursue Gallagher beyond the Profit & Sustainability requirements deadline.
Aston Villa have already opened talks with Chelsea to sign Conor Gallagher. The club's ability to offer Champions League football next season could be a factor he will consider while considering his next move.
Chelsea are open to offers not less than £50 million. Having sold academy graduate Mason Mount in a deal worth an initial £55 million last summer, Chelsea will seek a similar fee for Gallagher this summer.
NAPOLI INTERESTED IN LUKAKU
New Napoli head coach Antonio Conte hopes to sign Romelu Lukaku from Chelsea.
Antonio Conte wants to make Romelu Lukaku his first signing having made his return to management as the new Napoli head coach.
The 54 year old has been out of work since March 2023 when he left Tottenham Hotspur by mutual consent 10 games before the end of the season. He has signed a three year deal with Napoli.
Victor Osimhen is expected to leave this summer and Napoli need to find his replacement. Romelu Lukaku has been identified as his potential successor.
Chelsea value Lukaku at £38 million since he enjoyed a fruitful loan at Roma. Conte and Lukaku linked up in 2021 to lead Inter Milan to the Serie A title.
Lukaku scored 24 goals and provided 11 assists to inspire Inter's march to the Scudetto and now Conte wants to work with the Belgium striker again.
MANCHESTER UNITED INTERESTED IN CUNHA
Manchester United are keen on signing Wolves forward Matheus Cunha but it seems he is not interested in leaving the club.
Matheus Cunha says he is happy at Wolves despite interest from Manchester United. Manchester United scouts have watched Cunha on a number of occasions and have identified him as the perfect profile for Sir Jim Ratcliffe.
Manchester United are willing to double his wages if he accepts a move to Old Trafford. Cunha scored 14 goals and provided 8 assists in all competitions last season.
