Baboon Forest rapper, Mungi Matovu alias Mun' G recently downplayed Kityamuweesi Herbert alias Crysto Panda's musical talents.
According to the rapper, Crysto is only good at presenting on television and not music. He believes Panda must be recognized only as a TV presenter and not an an artiste.
Mun'G, who is widely respected as one of the founders of lugaflow revealed this while speaking in an interview with a local television station.
Many expected Crysto Panda to respond in the same negative way Ugandans are uused to. He however took Mun G's ideas fairly well.
In an interview, Crysto revealed that he respects Mun G as a veteran rapper and as such, can not badmouth him.
"Mun G is a veteran. He is one of the people I admire. I learned my craft from him. I can't say anything bad about him. " he said.
While Mun G has been rapping for as long as Ugandans can remember, Crysto Panda is fresh into the music industry.
He has worked on songs such as Nkwepikila, Tuli mu struggle, Ki Uganda Kinyuma, Ndaba Bulabi. He has also worked with big artistes like Sheebah.
He recently revealed he will leave television to focus on his music career by next year.
