Crysto Panda to Abandon Bubbly Lynda Ddane at NTV
    • November 2, 2021 • 3 years ago

Having spent over 2 years with presenter, Lynda Ddane on the same TV station, Cysto Panda her workmate is reported to be leaving the Serena based station "Essawa Yonna" (anytime soon).

Crysto is said to be moving to Next Media's NBS TV that is known for relentlessly poaching NTV's staff and the rumours futher state how he is in the final stages of inking a permanent deal at the Naguru based station.

This automatically means that once he moves, our bubbly Lynda Ddane will be lonely since she will have no one to dance with on cold Saturday nights during the NTV Dance Party show that she has been co-hosting with Panda.

Although we still have guys like VJ Baby love, Daggy Nice to keep her company, I must confess that no one at NTV has made Lynda smile the way Crysto does, not even DJ Brian who is rumoured to be her current boyfriend.

Why is Crysto Panda Leaving NTV

Having worked at the station for more than 5 years Crysto feels it is time to call it quits after revealing to the public earlier this year that the contract with his T-Nation program is expiring next year (2022) in January.

And ofcourse, having grown up into a mature adult, the youthful presenter is nolonger a teenager and therefore cannot be allowed to extend his contract to host a teens show and this is why he has been doing a late night show like NTV Dance Party that relatively airs mature content compared to his teens show.

Word on the street also suggests that he will replace MC Kats who is leaving the rival NBS TV for greener pastures and that he will be joining the fantastic four group consisting of Douglas Lwanga, DJ Roja, DVJ Mercy on their After 5 show still on NBS TV.

Couldn't Panda just continue with NTV

Well.. the T-Nation presenter did not manage to secure another permanent contract at the station when he failed an interview to host the "Da Beat" show at the time when Douglas Lwanga, the previous host had just left the station back in February 2018.

Most people on seeing him during trials on "Da Beat" complained about how he is only good at exciting the teens on T-Nation but was not suitable for a show that required some mature content and hence rendered him unfit to fill Lwanga's shoes.

This misfit and the coming of Daggy Nice and Lynda Ddane to NTV in a few months later is what made Panda to miss out on getting the life changing contract at the station.

NBS Fuels the Crysto Panda Joining Rumours

As I have already mentioned above, it is rumoured that Crysto Panda is moving to NBS TV anytime from now and this has been partially confirmed by NBS.

The Naguru based station earlier last week advertised on all their socials about how they were having vacant positions on the After 5 show that were open for applications from the public.

The procedure for applying is quite simple and it doesn't involve a writing things like application letters but instead involves sending a short Tik Tok like video to NBS for vetting.

So this made me connect the dots that since MC Kats who is the show's host is said to be leaving for a gig at The AIDS Support Organisation (a.k.a greener pastures), then it is possible that Panda could be on his way.
