    "We are deeply thankful to the people of Soroti for standing with us through thick and thin. Your commitment to the struggle for regime change is inspiring and essential for our success," Amuriat stated.

    Amuriat's sentiments were echoed by the Party Secretary General, Rt. Hon. Nathan Nandala Mafabi, who called for unity and reconciliation within the party ranks. "It is time to put aside past differences and come together as one strong FDC.

    We must unite our efforts to build a future where democracy thrives and every Ugandan's voice is heard," Mafabi urged.The event saw the participation of numerous FDC leaders and local officials, showcasing the party's robust network in the region.

    The organizing committee, led by Hon. Attan Moses Okia, FDC Deputy Treasurer, played a crucial role in ensuring the event's success.

    "This event is a testament to what we can achieve when we work together. Our strength lies in our unity and our shared vision for a better Uganda."

    Members of Parliament, including Hon. Alobo Joan Achom, Hon. Adeke Anna Ebaju, Hon. Ebwalu Jonathan, Hon. Isodo Stella Apolot, Hon. Ekudo Tom Julius, and Hon. Emigu Peter, were present, demonstrating the party's commitment to engaging with and listening to their constituents.

    Their presence underscored the FDC's dedication to representing the diverse voices within Teso.Local leaders, such as Soroti City Mayor His Worship Hon. Edogu Joshua, Soroti East Division Mayor Hon. Omer Paul, Soroti West Division Mayor Hon. Emalu Patrick, Soroti City Council Speaker Hon. Juliet Agonyo, Chairman Eigu Daniel, and Chairman Asaku Isaac, also attended, highlighting the collaboration between the FDC and local governance structures.

    The launch was more than a political gathering; it was a celebration of community spirit and collective ambition. The atmosphere was charged with optimism and determination, reflecting the FDC's commitment to change.
