Forum for Democratic Change (FDC) has sent out a warning to the government of Uganda in line with the new Covid-19 variant Omnicron that is now spreading like wild fire in the parts of Europe and South Africa.
Reports coming from the Najjanankumbi ased opposition party show that the leaders have requested the govenment to show a work plan that it's going to use to stop this new deadly variant from entering the country as the prvious ones have been entering, leading to forced total lockdowns.
This comes at a time when the country is awaiting full re-opennning of the economy as the president has been saying in his previous addresss. One can't help but worry about another lockdown, given that it has seemed to be the only clear plan the govenment has, as observed from the previous invasions.
Reports have also come out from corridor sources inside the govenmet and are showing that much as other countries are flaging South Africa as a red zone and banning people from the country entrance to theirs, no such measures are being taken at the Entebbe airport, meaning returnees from S.A are entering. Should we be worried or the scientists "are on the wheel?"
