While many may say that Bebe Cool started it all, he is the same Bebe Cool that has managed to secure the release of the two Nigerian singers, Omah Lay and Tems that were stuck in a Ugandan jail.
Working tirelessly with all the contacts at his disposal, Big Size Bebe Cool made sure that a release order comes in from the Government of Uganda ordering the immediate release of the foreign musicians.
Bebe in Uganda is not only a musician but also a highly connected gentleman that usually meets with the president and other high level officials in the government such as Cabinet Ministers.
Earlier in the day, Bebe Cool was bashed by Nigerian superstar Davido for being involved in the arrest of the Nigerian singers where he even went ahead and used the f** word.
How did Bebe Cool get involved in the arrest?
First of all, I would like to categorically state that Bebe was not the one who caused the arrest of Omah Lay and Tems plus their managers.
The blame is being put on him because of a post he made last week about how he was going to use all his effort to crush the upcoming Nigerian concert in Uganda.
But he deleted this post soon after, not even more than an hour after seeing that he had posted something really bad.
Then Who caused the arrest ?
Its the online community in Uganda to blame, plus Omah Lay himself who posted a photo with crowds in his back in the middle of a pandemic.
Omah Lay posting such a photo was clear direction to the Uganda Police, which has a very active online presence that someone was breaking the law.
Plus the numerous posts from several Ugandans condemning the unfairness of allowing a foreign artist to stage a concert whole the local artists were starving due to a lock down on their activities.
