Singer Juliana Kanyomozi has narrated to her fans how she suffered giving birth to baby Taj from Canada.
Through her YouTube channel, Juliana said that it was horrible having to give birth alone without any relative around.
She had flown to Canada to give birth. Her sister and Taj's fathet were supposed to travel and find her in Canada. They however could not make it as Uganda has imposed it's first ever tight lockdown.
This, Juliana says terrified her as she was stuck in Canada's winter without any one around her.
"2019 I get the news that I’m pregnant and then at the beginning of 2020, I travelled out, I went to Canada and as soon as I settled in, I started hearing about Covid-19.
Imagine a lockdown, in winter, you are pregnant, you are alone, that was scary. My sister and Taj’s father were supposed to come but they told me they couldn’t make it because of the lockdown,” Juliana narrated.
The 'kibaluma' singer was however glad when the lockdown was lifted as she had to come back to be with her family.
“I came back at the beginning of this year; I was there for one year. Sometimes I would sit there and cry because I missed my family,”
“It has been a wonderful moment being a new mom,” Juliana said while referring to her baby Taj.
