KATIKKIRO TO ARTISTES: Handle yourselves with Respect!
    • May 25, 2022 • 2 years ago

Buganda Kingdom's premier Charles Peter Mayiga has come out to urge artistes to respect themselves as their jobs.

Well known as one of the public figures that has been in attendance for some of the events in the arts and entertainment sector, Mayiga is believed to have the moral authority to offer guidance to the artists.

"I urge all musicians to respect themselves and respect their jobs. I have been to different shows and I know how they conduct themselves. Art has alot of money in it and its a job, so I want artists to handle themselves with care" he said!

Mayiga made the remarks at his office in songstress Spice Diana’s presence. Diana had gone to meet the Katikkiro and request him to be guest of honor at her "Stargal EP" listening party slated for Thursday this week at Cubana Bar and Lounge in Munyonyo.

In acceptance, Mayiga noted that one of the reasons he moves to events like these is to see how artistes conduct themselves. Congratulations to Spice Diana!
