It has been reported that Manchester United have been offered a swap deal for Kobbie Mainoo as FC Barcelona are interested in the player.
Manchester United's season ended excellently after they defeated Manchester City at Wembley Stadium to secure the FA cup. But overall, it was a miserable campaign as they finished eighth in the Premier League and exited the Champions league and Carabao Cup during the early stages.
Kobbie Mainoo's rise was one of Manchester United's positives last season. The 19-year-old made 35 appearances for the club across all competitions during his break through season and his performances have earned him a spot in Gareth Southgate’s squad for Euro 2024.
Kobbie Mainoo has also been linked with a move to European Champions Real Madrid.
FC Barcelona are reportedly interested in signing Kobbie Mainoo and they are considering a swap deal involving former Leeds United winger Raphinha, who has recently been linked with a move to Arsenal.
FC Barcelona are currently struggling financially and need to make summer sales in order to balance their books with reports claiming new head coach Hansi Flick reportedly wants to get rid of Raphinha, the Brazil international.
Reports claim that FC Barcelona have put Raphinha as part of the deal in their pursuit to sign Kobbie Mainoo.
Hansi Flick recommends Kobbie Mainoo as the ideal midfield alternative to Martin Zubimendi, Amadou Onana, Mikel Merino and Joshua Kimmich.
FC Barcelona have offered £8.5 million plus winger Raphinha in a swap deal for the England international.
ARSENAL SET PRICE FOR AARON RAMSDALE
It has reported that Arsenal want £40 million to sell Aaron Ramsdale this summer.
Since the arrival of David Raya on loan from Brentford last summer, Aaron Ramsdale has fallen out of favour under Mikel Arteta.
David Raya won the Golden glove award after keeping 16 clean sheets throughout the Premier League campaign.
Arsenal are expected to sign David Raya on a permanent deal by triggering his buy clause, this could lead to Aaron Ramsdale's potential exit
However, Arsenal are only willing to sell him for atleast £40 million and another £10 million in add ons.
Aaron Ramsdale is at the top of his goalkeeping career and would be a top signing for another club.
At the moment, there are no formal bids for Aaron Ramsdale. Newcastle United are looking for other options due to the price tag, but there could be interest from other clubs in the coming weeks.
