Mathias Walukagga was once again involved in a child neglect saga this week. The Kadongo Kamu singer who also doubles as the Kyengera Town Council mayor has however trashed the claims saying that he actually lives with all his 8 children from different women at his home. He adds that he looks after them by himself because he has no wife at home and any woman who claims to have his child should bring him or her for a DNA test because he can never fail to look after his flesh.
In his latest song titled “Ekitawuluzi”, Walukagga focuses on the importance of DNA tests and urges government to put in place a system that ensures DNA testing upon delivery of kids to confirm their paternity. The mayor believes this will help reduce on the ever increasing numbers of women that pin children on men. Its now a common case for artistes to be involved in child neglect cases. Various women have in the past accused local artists of siring children with them but end up shunning away from their fatherly responsibilities.
