Ugandan musician, Pius Mayanja also known as Pallaso is on the verge of eating the money donated to him by fans and friends.
The singer managed to collect more than 5 million shillings after requesting his fans to contribute a 100 million shilling target towards the clearance of his Range Rover which is in the custody of Uganda Revenue Authority over uncleared taxes.
He made the announcement via his twitter last week and shortly after, some loyal fans started sending in the mobile money. Disappointingly, the first few donors gave the singer peanuts; the likes of 500 shilling coins and below.
This prompted some unforgiving Ugandans as usual to laugh at his progress so far saying that the "Malamu" hit maker was greatly embarrassing himself because his loyal fans actually ain't loyal given the meager amounts they were contributing.
Others blamed him for only thinking about himself like @256sseki who said this ;
Naye Mwana baguy mwe mujogga tokisusa musajja mukulu people lack food gwe olowoza motoka mbu nio nio if you managed to purchase it pay for the taxes periodtt
Pallaso is about to eat the ka Money
After collecting a whooping 5,383,252 million shillings, the singer according to our sources is on the verge of eating the money.
We are aware he has already reduced it by 1 million shillings, after he donated towards Big Tyme group's lost musician, Oscar who was rescued off the streets of Kampala recently by fellow singer Bruno K.
Bruno K informed people that he found Oscar Big Tyme living on the street with one of his legs rotting and this is where he begged Pallaso to contribute towards this cause.
Will the rest of the money survive ????
So, going by the looks of things, our man Pallaso was not able to give away the entire 5 million to Bruno K which indicates that he wants the money and "Sawa yonna" any time, he will end up "Eating Dat Moneeey" .
And since Dat money is not enough to solve his needs of 100 million, he is likely to follow the advice of the man in the Video below;
But as we speak now, he has donated all the remaining balance which amount totaled to more than 7 million Ugandan shillings to the Ghetto Kids.
