Patrick Salvador Commends OS Suna For Walking Out Of STV Studios Amid An Interview
    • October 7, 2021 • 3 years ago

Comedian Patrick Idringi Salvador has applauded singer OS Suna for standing up to television presenters after he walked out of a television studio during an interview.

Omulangira Suna was recently hosted by SK Mbuga owned STV to discuss his music and the current affairs in the entertainment industry.

Trouble however started when his host mistook him for a Muslim. The host expressed her admiration of the singer for managing to stay relevant despite having barely released a hit song for years

She went on to comment on the ongoing conflict between Suna and Next Media employees, Kayz, Wakko and Makko claiming that since Suna is a Muslim, he should be a forgiving heart.

"Some people say they look up to Suna because he's one of the Artistes who have remained relevant even without a hit song. And that given he's a Muslim, he should be a forgiving person." the host said.

At this, Suna became furious, reminding his host to respect him by first researching about him before even hosting him, adding that he has never been a Muslim before storming out of the studios

“Do you know my religion?" to which the host said she personally knew him as a Muslim.

"Let me teach you something. Before you invite anyone like me, first do research about that person’s life. If you have no idea about my life then you have no business hosting me. Are you sure I’m a Muslim?” Suna fumed.

“We did not come here to fight. Respect yourself when on camera. You’re even embarrassing us,” the host retorted forcing a furious Suna to storm out of the studios.

    Patrick Salvador Reacts.

Popular stand up comedian, Patrick Salvador on learning about what happened was awed at Suna for standing up to unprofessional presenters.

He claimed that Suna's actions will soon put an end to the arrogance displayed by most entertainment show hosts in Uganda.

“Love him or hate him Suuna is going to help shape the uncouth behavior of some presenters- time to clean housewell done OS”, He tweeted.

However, several netizens think that Suna's outburst was unnecessary and advised him to keep his cool or risk his whole career, which is currently hanging midair
