Ugandan Police has vowed to take affirmative action against Goodlyfe musician, Weasel Manizo, real names Douglas Mayanja for thumping a one, Kaweesi Baker a.k.a Cyrus.

Police confirmed recieving complaints from the family of Kaweesi Baker who was allegedly almost crippled by the Goodlyfe singer.

Baker's brother appeared on NBS TV and revealed that Weasel hit his brother with a golf club, shattering one of his legs. The incident allegedly took place on Tuesday, 10th August at Weasel's home in Makindye.

Kaweesi was rushed to Nsambya Hospital where doctors were unable to treat him due to severe injuries. He was transferred to Mulago Hospital. The family needs shs. 5 millions to treat Baker.

According to Kampala Metropolitan Deputy Spokesperson Luke Owoyesigyire, Police has been issuing summons to Weasel to answer to several assault cases. He however says this time he will be arrested like a common chicken thief.

"We are going to arrest Mayanja and we are not going to summon him like we have been doing before for most artists involved in such acts. He will just be arrested like we have been arrested other people." he said in a press statement.

"If he (Weasel) gets to hear this message, he should not wait for us to get to him. If he can, he should present himself to us but we are not going to formally summon him this time, we are just going to arrest him."

     *Weasel unfazed.*

While this hullabaloo was going on, Weasel appeared not in the least shaken by the Police's statement.

A few minutes after, Luke Owoyesigyire issued the statement, Weasel took to his social media, claiming he has not even been in the country for atleast one week.

"Kenya, it was nice hosting me for a week." he wrote while captioning a picture of himself travelling.

Meanwhile, the family of Kaweesi has vowed to seek justice till Weasel is sufficiently punished in courts of law.
