Real Madrid could sign Alphonso Davies as a free agent next summer.
Bayern Munich have admitted that Alphonso Davies could leave on a free transfer next summer if no agreement is reached. The two parties have not yet found common ground on a contract extension. Alphonso Davies wants a salary of €20 million (£16.9 million/$21.6 million) but it seems Bayern Munich are not willing to pay the left back that amount of money.
It has been reported that Bayern Munich have set clear financial limits, prioritizing fiscal responsibility over retaining a key player at any cost. This has led to the possibility of Alphonso Davies leaving on a free transfer if an agreement cannot be reached with Real Madrid ready to swoop the player when he becomes a free agent.
Real Madrid are long time admirers of Alphonso Davies, with initial talks held in February suggesting a possible move to Spain. It has reported that a verbal agreement on personal terms was reached during these discussions. It outlined two possible scenarios, a 2024 transfer if a fee could be agreed upon, or a 2025 move when Alphonso Davies could be available for free.
Real Madrid are interested in spending a large sum of money for a player who is nearing the end of his contract.
It has been reported that Real Madrid has allegedly asked Alphonso Davies to hold off on extending his contract with Bayern Munich. This is the same strategy they used to sign Jude Bellingham and Kylian Mbappe.
Losing Alphonso Davies on a free transfer would be a huge blow for Bayern Munich but they remain hopeful for a last-minute compromise that would secure his future with the club.
BARCELONA COULD PART WAYS WITH VITOR ROQUE
Barcelona are considering cutting their losses on 2024 signing Vitor Roque if they are unable to register the teenage striker.
It has been reported that Hansi Flick, the new Barcelona manager, wants to see the teenager in pre-season to assess his qualities. However, since Barcelona needs to register a number of players with Laliga, Vitor Roque could be left out. He could go out on loan or leave on a permanent transfer.
It has been reported that nine of the 25 players that played for Barcelona last season cannot be registered for next season. The club must find approximately £110 million before June 30 or it will be tough to add new players to their squad as they overshot La Liga's salary limit last season.
