In this world of technology, virtual dating has become the trend. However, for Sheilah Carol Gashumba, it is like a demon deserving a powerful exorcism.
This is after the socialite became involved with a 'romance scammer' she met while on holiday in Zanzibar.
"I have never dated such a liar." says Sheilah while interacting with her listeners on YouTube.
She was enjoying the coast and the Zanzibarn air, she recieved a message from someone whose name she declined to reveal.
However, for the purpose of her narration, she called him Josh.
Josh, she says was a young man around 25 with a very brilliant business ideas. He shared his idea with her through the text message and the two agreed to meet in Kampala.
The duo finally met in Kololo. It is here that Sheilah realizes his business idea is 'interesting because it was not in Uganda yet '
The two kept on meeting at Cayenne as Sheilah decided to try dating someone who was neither a celebrity nor wealthy.
' We kept on meeting at Gayembe in the days that followed. Being the young lad he was and business minded not in the limelight and I had just come out of a three year relationship, I decided to give it a try." Sheilah narrated.
However, after two full weeks of seeing each other, the slender socialite realized she was playing with fire as she came to realize that she can never date an ordinary man again as their main goal is to mint money from her.
"But guys," she said "from this day is when I realized I can never date an ordinary guy in my life."
True to her word, the socialite has only dated celebrities and money minters. The latest on her list is Swedish based singer, Rickman Manrick. She has also dated Fik Fameika and sports enthusiast, Marcus Lwanga a.k.a God's Plan.
