Veteran singer Sweet Kid was a hot shot musician who rose to great heights in the music industry in the year 2004 with his hit song mama Brenda. He enjoyedthe spotlight from 2004 to 2010 and this is when he disappeared, never making stage appearances not releasing new songs. Many of his fans awaited in hopes that he could make a return and grace the studio once again, something he did not do. He is famous for songs such as; sirikyusa, kibakibi which he sung with Bebe Cool, Sanyu Lyange, Kisaati and so many more.
Recently however, many fans were shocked to see Sweet kid performing on stage for revealers during Juliana's recent successful concert. It was an unexpected yet pleasant surprise to many as they sang along, reminiscing about the good old days when he was a hot shot. After his performance, many fans and fellow artistes went out of their way to call him back in the industry and utilisé his talents.
Among those asking the singer to make a come back is guitarist and veteran singer Aziz Azion. He argues that Sweet Kid still has the voice and the fan base. After the concert, the singer took to his social media handles to appreciate and call his long-time friend sweet kid back on the stage.
“After a long time no wedding no shows, he was a surprise too last time. Sebo my muyimbi #Sweetkid, thanks for the good performance last night. We need you back on stage,” he posted

In an interview recently, Aziz Azion revealed that he was so surprised to watch the audience sing alongside Sweet Kid and jump up as though he was the most trending musician at that moment. He said he was overwhelmed and on behalf of the fans, he had to call him back into the industry.
“On that day, I realized that people still love him and know his music as if he sang them yesterday. I saw how they were responding to his music and I was convinced to request for his come back from retirement. I believe he can do it because he still has the fans, the voice, and the energy,” said Aziz
