Musician Pius Mayanja alias Pallaso has come out and emulated Nigerian star Davido.
Earlier today, Davido shared a screenshot of his bank account on Twitter saying that fans have sent millions of naira an hour after he asked them to.
“If u know I’ve given you a hit song .. send me money,” Davido tweeted before he started sharing updates of how much had been sent.
He later tweeted that 7m naira had been raised in just 10 minutes, and joked that his target was 100 million naira because he wanted to pay off a loan he had taken for his Rolls-Royce car.
A few moments later, our very own Ugandan musician Pallaso jumped on the challenge.
Through his Twitter, the "Malamu" hitmaker also begged his fans to send him cash worth 100 Million Ugshs so that he can rescue his range rover from Uganda Revenue Authority (URA).
"????I need 100 million UGX to rescue my range rover from Uganda revenue authority????????If you are my big fan??, if you love and appreciate what i do and wish to help me rescue my car, please send your contribution to Mtn +256 781 368 315 now. Airtel +256 704 121 571 THANK YOU??,"
The singer received A lot of negativity especially from Facebook. Some laughed off the joke as others bashed him, reminding him that this is not Nigeria.
