City socialite Charles Olim also known as Sipapa who has been behind bars for around 3 weeks now has been finally freed.

He was freed after court gave him bail on a cash bond of 4 million shillings and this is where he revealed to journalists what had been transpiring in his life when he was in jail.

The socialite talked about how his fellow prisoners after realising he was the one in prison were praying for him day and night to leave the prison.

He said they prayed for him because they hoped when he gets out, he will be of help to them since he has now seen the situation they are in.

Sipapa further said, he has seen so many evil things in the prison where he was. This prison was more of a safe house according to him and this is where he saw all age categories being tortured.

I have seen a 50-year person, a 4 year old child being beaten and tortured...Sipapa

    Why Sipapa Arrested

Sipapa says even himself, he is not aware of the exact crime he is being charged for because there are many crimes the authorities in Uganda can attach to a person.

There are rumours also moving around that Sipapa could have been arrested for illegal possession of fire arms.

But according to Sipapa's lawyer called Sam, he says Sipapa along the people he was arrested with some weeks ago were accused of theft of three mobile phones, a laptop, and a power bank.
