Stop your foolery! Netizens attack prophet Elvis Mbonye over false prophesies.
    • December 19, 2021 • 3 years ago

Netizens have always had a soft spot for  prophet Elvis Mbonye but it seems like most of them have had enough of self proclaimed Prophet Elvis Mbonye with his clearly obvious prophesies and have decided to trash him.

The "Prophet" has been in the industry for quite a long time and there have been irregularities with his prophesies and most have been recorded to be wrong.

There was once a time he prophesied that Uganda would win the World Cup and the country  were disqualified. The country  did not even get close to sniffing the cup. That was when discontent started to build up in his believers however much some remained loyal and faithful and in the end they were called blind fools.

What has led Netizens to lash out at him was the fact that he prophesied about the removal of curfew just a few months after the state of the nation address where he proclaimed that the lock down would be lifted  soon and schools were to be opened.

" We shall be able to open schools and the rest of the economy by January 2022 with rational safety. Whether people go for vaccination or not, we shall reopen the economy but if anything goes wrong, the moral responsibility is yours." The president said during the address.

Like a child who had got assurance from his parent, Prophet Elvis Mbonye went ahead to replicate the speach into his prophesy.

" A time is coming shortly when there will be no curfews. The thing is, it has to get to you because it is the truth and i don't want you to lose your soul. The time will come where you can be out and come back any time. The time is coming where you dont have to think about that. The time is coming shortly. Mark my words." Elvis Mbonye said.

The same happened a while back while USA was voting for president and he prophesied that a woman would be a strong key and was likely to be president. By this, he was hinting at Hillary Clinton but contrary to his word, Joe Biden became president. When questioned, he came out to say he had not said Biden would not be president per say but he only mentioned a key woman of power.
