Long lost WBS TV presenter Straka Mwezi also known as Straka baibe has made a come back to the entertainment industry of Uganda.
This was after a she made a shocking appearance on the weekly UG Connect Concert last Saturday alongside the Mayanjas, Nandujja and a whole host of other musicians.
As faded as she looked, she was still the Straka we have always known, given her style of dressing with a cross-bag along her chubby body and multicoloured hairstyle.
Straka to dispute the faded status we are awarding her, proved to us about how talented she still is through the chemistry displayed between her and other people that were on the live show.
Where has Straka Been
Ever since WBS TV closed shop in 2014 over unpaid URA tax bills worth UGX. 7 billion, the chubby presenter has been purely lost in all aspects. She has been extremely rare on the entertainment scene and the only times we could remember her is when she had bad news coming along.
Bad news like failure to pay rent at her bar in Bweyogerere. In 2019, Straka failed to pay rent of over UGX. 7 million which forced her landlord to confiscate the bar property in hope of recovering his money.
It was like a fall from grace to grass because in those days of late show, Straka used to be financially stable and even if she failed to get money, atleast her fans would collect it naye in 2019, it was a different case.
But there is also good news about Straka
In May this year, she announced the opening of her new TV station called Straka TV which is an online based one and only airs on Friday night from 10pm till late.
A lot of fans that were greatly missing her are said to have been delighted to see their favourite presenter back on TV.

Straka last weekend also revealed how she cannot work on any TV station again because no one can manage to pay the amount of money she wants as a salary and therefore the best TVs can do is to hire her as a consultant.
