Singer Moses Ssali alias Bebe Cool has vowed to turn his famous 'Bebe Cool List'  into official Awards whereby he plans to reward the artists that make it on his annual list financially afterall he believes it is better than purchasing pieces of glass that do not cost more than 20,000 Uganda Shillings in the name of awards.

The Bebe Cool list is a list that is published annually by the Wire wire hit maker Bebe Cool on his official social media handles. He lists all his favourite songs of the year together with the artist who sung the song.

He reported that the reason he desired to turn it into real awards is because he desires to raise the standards by which Ugandan Awards operate. He said that the awards shall be officially launched at the end of next year.

Bebe Cool went ahead to say that his list has been published for three years and it has aided the industry to grow every other year.

" I think those organizers of Awards should stop fooling around with people's names and making businesses out of it. Awarding people should stop being just buying a glass of 20,000 shillings."

He went ahead to promise that the awards will be big and very famous.

" It is only right that this list becomes an award and please do not be shocked if you see it becoming one of the biggest awards in East and Central Africa soon. Awarding people for what they do is good. " He said
