Singer Bruno Kiggundu alias Bruno K has distanced self from rumors of having a romantic affair with celebrated journalist Faridah Nakazibwe.
For so long , Bruno K and Faridah Nakazibwe have been rumored to be in a secret relationship.
These secret romance rumors started when the two became so close to the extent that Faridah Nakazibwe had to take custody of Bruno K’s daughter Briella Kiggundu.
A few weeks ago, Faridah Nakazibwe gave birth to her third child and a section of netizens alleged that Bruno K is the father of the baby.
However, during an interview with Galaxy TV's Mr. Henrie, Bruno K made it clear that he has never expressed his sexual feelings to Nakazibwe.
The singer states that if that had ever happened, they would not be friends upto date. He believes Nakazibwe would have even taken care of his daughter.
On how the two became tight friends, Bruno K mentioned that around 2019, Faridah was seen in Nankulabye when she had gone to visit a good friend of hers. The friend’s house was in the same area code with that of Bruno K and people presumed that she had gone to see him instead.
The Faridah singer stated that a Facebook group called Mama Tendo where that rumor was catalyzed. He emphasized that people used to believe what came out of the mama tendo group as the gospel truth.
According to Bruno k, before the rumor, the two were not friends but when he heard the wrong accusations, he decided to turn the lemons into lemonade.
It was because of this that he wrote and sang the song Faridah Ntaawa which he claims got him alot of money when he was invited to sing on a wedding for a “Faridah”.
It was after this song that the two became friends and turned into really good friends.
He stated that when they became friends, Faridah Nakazibwe saw that he was good with handling social media so she requested that he helps her out. This made them to spend so much together which created more rumors about them being in a romantic relationship.
He said they moved their friendship from just friendship to bussiness because they used to advise each other.
Bruno k stresses that even when he is dating someone, he has to emphasize that his family and his friendship with Faridah Nakazibwe are his two things that shouldn’t be interfered with.
