Since the explosion that took place in Komamboga, Kawempe division last week, that saw people at Digida pork joint narrowly survive death, the state of security in the country has been on another 'checkmate' since the pre and post elections time in January this year.
The state minister for Internal Affairs Gen. David Muhoozi earlier today appeared before a parliament sitting full of disturbed MPs who needed answers towards the current state of affairs in the country.
Among the answers many MPs wanted included a report about the recent explosions, one in Komamboga and the other in Mpigi which happened in a period of less than a week apart.
However while responding to the questions, Minister Muhoozi promised MPs that all shall be well and that action is to be taken to all the concerned paries in the two incidents. He also mentioned that all the police officials in the area of Komaboga shall bne punished, as it turned out that the place where the incident happened was being given security by the same poloce meant to enforce curfew rules.
This does not come off as something new, given about two days back, the IGP of Police through the istitute's spokesperson CP Fred Enanga promised to deal with all police officers siding with bar owners to avail security while breaking curfew rules.
