It is no secret that TV personality and gospel singer Gabbie Ntaate is seen and regarded as one of the top female gospel musicians in Uganda. She took the musical scene jokingly but surely as her soul spirited songs have never ceased to amuse netizens, her fans and her followers at large.
Many always wondered how she turned from a gossip monger to a Gospel artiste so easily as the two characters as expected by the public contradict each other. Well, Ntaate seems to be the exception of this belief as she delivers in both her roles so deliciously.
With her popularity, you would think she should be maximizing Television interviews to continue strengthening her brand but for Gabbie, this does not seem like a very important thing for her right now. Even after winning awards for Gospel Artiste of the year, she still doesn’t consider appearing on TV interviews important.
Well, it seems like this has bothered a few media personalities, one being Mark Mukunja who works with Sanyuka TV. Mark has come out and expressed his frustration at the difficulty of getting the gospel singer to attend any sort of Television interview.
According to Mark, even when invited, Gabbie always turns down such invitations and she never shows up. We all know that Mark Mukunja considers himself an honest critic when it comes to musicians and he never stops at anything when it comes to calling out what he believes has not been done right.
According to Mark, Gabbie may have a harsh downfall if she keeps on dodging TV interviews in this kind of manner. He has given an example of Judith Babirye, a gospel singer who was once prominent in the industry but had the same characteristics and is now nowhere to be seen on the gospel music scene.
