New singer Fik Gaza was in the wee hours of the night arrested and is detained at Kibuye police station. The rapper was arrested along with some of his gang members.
It is alleged the singer was arrested at around 04:00am in the morning.
According to his social media, the first rising dancehall musician was arrested by men in police and Army Uniform who broke into his house.
"Police namaje byeyiy’ewa fik Gaza nebimuwamba kusawa na kumi nekitundu ela tewali amanyi gyatwalidwa." statement on his Facebook page read.
Recently there has been a verbal war going on between him and the Sitya danger hitmaker and earlier this month it escalated into a physical fight causing damage to some of the gang members of both camps.
"We were at Sweet Kid's place, and Alien Skin's boys attacked my people. They beat us up, leading to a scuffle which later escalated into a fight, leading to bloodshed," Gaza told the media earlier on this year.
Early this month, Alien Skin's team and Fik Gaza's boys again exchanged brawls at the Zzina awards organised by Galaxy FM in Kasanga.
"What seemed to be a night of celebration of Ugandan music turned chaotic when rival gangs clashed at the just concluded Zzina Awards.
On Thursday evening at IUEA Auditorium in Kansanga, Alien Skin, and Fik Gaza camps engaged in fighting, resulting in the event being paused for an hour." part of the report from local media read.
With such background, many are pointing Gaza's arrest to his volatile character.

Fik Gaza rose to stardom last year after releasing a remix of his Banana song with Jose Chameleon.
He also collaborated with Jamaican dancehall legend Koshens and the song will be released very soon.
Shafiq Dangote, popularly known by his stage name Fik Gaza, is a Ugandan dancehall and ragga musician who started pursuing music professionally in 2018.
He started as a member of the Leone island crew headed by Jose Chameleon but later found his way out to Alien Skin's fangone forest.
Late last year, Fik Gaza quit Alien Skin's fangone forest to start Gaza empire and the rest is history.
