It is always good to appreciate the people that lend you a helping hand when no one else is willing to do the same for you.
Many people tend to overlook people that have been there for them most especially in their rise to stardom. As soon as they reach the top, they forget every person that has built a step to enable them reach the top they had been yearning for.
Well, musician Zafaran is not one of those ungrateful people. She has come out to state that her music career and her rise to stardom were partially possible because of the great help she receive from a few individuals here and there.

The Swangz Avenue song bird has expressed her gratitude to musicians like Maureen Nantume who availed her a chance to perform say her concert, earning her a most useful spotlight because after singing at her concert, Zafaran received very many gigs afterwards, hence a great boost to her career.
“I thank God for always aligning the right people in my path. The very first person I met as an artiste was Maureen Nantume. She gave me a platform to sing at her concert. It was after this that many other artistes started booking me to sing for them. I earned a lot from doing gigs since then.” She stated
Zafaran however attributed the greatest applause to none other than John Blaq, real name John Kasadha. She stated that it was his love and support of her that led to her rise to stardom. According to Zafaran, she has met so many various people in her life and all of them have blessed her and given her opportunities but when it comes to John Blaq, he is a different breed.
Zafaran states that meeting John Blaq for her was a golden opportunity she would never trade for anything else. While speaking in an interview on Spark TV, Zafaran mentioned that from the day they crossed paths, John Blaq has always taken good care of her and treated her like his little sister by believing in her talent by encouraging and motivating her to keep on pushing towards success.
Zafaran also states that John Blaq has always done his best to avail her different opportunities to showcase her talent. According to her, he has even helped her mature.
“I have seen people with Golden hearts but when it comes to Musician John Blaq, he is a rare breed. He believes in me. He has always regarded me as his little sister and he has given me every opportunity possible to show case my talent . Right now, I am mature and it is all thanks to him.” She stated
