If you are the kind of young lady that sits idly at a bar, waiting for a stranger to buy you a drink then I believe you need to listen to the caution that Sheila Gashumba gave to ladies that are of this habit.

While being hosted for an episode of the famous podcast dubbed “In my opinion", Sheila Gashumba was brave enough to share her experience years back, where she received a free drink from a stranger and things did not end so well for her.

According to Sheila, she was meant to meet a friend at a famous hang out spot since her friend had called her over to try and help her solve her relationship disputes with her. According to Sheila, her friend was having misunderstandings with her man so she called Sheila over to try and intervene for her.

While at the hangout (name withheld), Sheila received a free drink from a stranger and being a famous person, she took it as a kind gesture from someone that has seen her around often.

According to Sheila however, the joy of receiving a free drink was short lived as there was a weird turn of events. Sheila woke up hours later only to find  herself in an unfamiliar place after taking the drink.

Sheila says she was quick to call her friends who came to her rescue and helped her deal wit this ordeal. She however says she learned her lesson that night and she vowed never to take any free drinks, be it from strangers or even people she knows when at hangout spots.

Sheila then advised women to work extra hard and earn enough money to buy their own drinks instead of waiting to gain off people they done even know!

“I encourage women to work hard and buy their own drinks when going out. That way, they won’t have to ever go through what I went through.” She says
