It was one fateful day when upcoming musician Bizzy Nateete chose to bark up the wrong tree in his bid to earn relevance and popularity in the music industry. Bizzy Nateete was calculating enough to try and earn his popularity off none other than musician Winnie Nwagi.
Winnie Nwagi woke up to see herself becoming the hot topic around town over night when Bizzy stated that he was the father of her daughter Destiny Mirembe and he was accused of being a dead beat father when in fact it is Winnie Nwagi that will not let him see his child.
According to him, he wanted to spend time with his daughter, stating that Winnie was making it impossible for him to see his child. All this while, Winnie Nwagi did not give him time and she never even responded back to any of his claims.
After a while however, the rumors were still not dying down and his saw Nwagi releasing an official statement, saying she felt disrespected by this upcoming musician and she would never let this slide. Nwagi stated that she will make sure he pays for disrespecting her and also putting her daughter Destiny under psychological torture as she was often bullied at school because of his statements.
Well, all news of this died down immediately after the release of Winnie Nwagi's statement so many people thought she had actually stopped pursuing this case. According to Winnie Nwagi however she is still pursuing this case because she felt disrespected and this is something she can not let go of that easily.
“I am still working on that case. Don’t expect me to stop working on it. I will make that man pay for everything because personally I was very disrespected. How can you think a woman does not know the father of her child? Is that even possible?” Nwagi stated during an interview with Galaxy TV.
In regards to the wave of news that came out during that time, Nwagi stated that the biggest let down for celebrities comes from gossip columns as well as journalists who give time to these people that come out seeking popularity while using already established musicians as an anchor. She stated that the more time they are given, the worse the situation turns.
“The moment you give these people time, they will always make a fuss where it is not meant to be. You give them time and they feed you with their lies then you start nailing celebrities. You should all first try to find out whether the people coming to you with gossip regarding other artistes are really credible.” Nwagi stated.
