Recently, we have all heard musician Ray G complaining about the disrespect that musicians from The Central show to musicians from the West. According to him, there need to be a change in such scenarios because it is unfair to treat Western Musicians like this.
Omega 256, who also happens to be a musician from Western Uganda has however come out to mention that she is puzzled about the reason why it is only Ray G that feels there is a lot of disrespect hurled at musicians from Western Uganda yet he is not the only musician there.
In her own view, the music industry is not the problem but rather Ray G could be having issues with particular individuals in the industry. She also stated that he could be having issues since he has never been one to start unnecessary wars.
She further went on to state that she has never seen any artiste from Central Uganda undermining another from Western Uganda.
"Ray G has not been a person of disputes. Maybe he has issues with someone, but I would like to know why he rushed to publicize his issues. Personally, I've not seen artistes from central Uganda trying to undermine anyone," said mega
She further stated that if there is such a thing as disrespect, every musician from the West should be complaining, not just Ray G.
"Of course, there's always a little bit of misunderstandings here and there but I don't know why he is the one complaining. What I don't understand is why he is the one who is quarreling and why is he the only one if it's a big issue affecting all singers from Western Uganda?" She stated.
