Today, the United Nations Security Council held a meeting and Minister for foreign affairs was summoned to explain the kidnappings and murders that have been happening since November 2020.

Hon. Sam Kutesa defended the security organs saying those "taken" were suspected of terrorism and were investigated and charged.

"The killings that happened in November 2020 were regrettable and we apologise for them." He added.

The National Unity Platform released a list of over 200 of it's supporters that mysteriously went missing

Some were found dead, some were tortured while others were dumped in forests and unknown locations.

In the past four months, over 600 Ugandans have gone missing.

The president in his last talk of the nation clarified that all persons taken by security were terrorists who wanted to disrupt election process.
