Fik Fameica while speaking in an interview with Galaxy TV has also come out to give his verdict on the amount of hate that is evident in the Ugandan music industry.

Many musicians have always come out to complain about the amount of hate they have experienced in the Ugandan music industry but unfortunately, very few people believe them.

Most musicians that have complained about this are upcoming musicians as they have come out to say that already established musicians are very selfish and in most cases, instead of helping them grow as the new kids on the block, they look at them as threats that have come to take their crowns.

In the end, they decide to dim their lights so that they are not able to shine in the industry. Some have come out to cite oppression while others have accused already established musicians of stealing their music. There are also a few that have come out and  claimed that big name artistes even do not want to offer them collabos at good will because they are scared of being out shined

Even amongst big name musicians however, they keep attacking each other while accusing each other of horrendous  things like being fake, dragging others' brands through the mud and so on. Well, the list is surely endless.

Musician Fik Fameica while speaking in an interview with Galaxy TV has also come out to give his verdict on the amount of hate that is evident in the Ugandan music industry. When asked whether he had ever cited this in the industry, he was quick to affirm that he also realized there was a lot of hate going on in the music industry.

Fameica stated that there are very many people who do not wish others well, while others are trying to bring fellow musicians down despite the fact that the industry would work better if there was unity amongst musicians.

“It is true. There is a lot of unnecessary hate in the Ugandan music industry. A place that is meant to unify people is the same place where people are always competing with each other and trying to put each other down.”

Fameica cited various challenges in the music industry, stating that making it to the top is really a miracle from God and it is not his own making alone.

    Fik

“It has been God all through and every single day. So many challenges come out way as musicians but we always manage to overcome because God is truly wonderful to us. I thank God that every year, I have a hit song. It is not by my power.” He stated.

Fameica also attested to the fact that when he was coming up as an artiste, there were many people that wanted to put him down but they never managed to do so because he is a tough breed and he attributes it to his back ground.

“I saw very many people trying so hard to put me down but let me tell you something. I am from Kawempe. We are a tough breed. Believe me am not showing off. We people from Kawempe always win no matter what.” He stated
