It was recently when the ministry of education announced the plan to re open schools after being closed for nearly a year.
However, a report has been sent in to the ministry of education concerning the close of so many schools.
Proprietors of these schools had borrowed loans they had hoped to pay if schools opened soon with school fees.
However, the schools delayed to open and thus their schools which they had given in as security for the loans have been secured by the banks and are to be sold.
The fate of the students in the schools is unknown.
If the schools are sold off, they might need to change schools as soon as possible.
Most of these schools are primary schools and are majority are in the rural areas.
It has also been reported that most teachers had found other businesses that are giving them money and are unwilling to go back into the teaching business.
