84 people left to self-isolate instead of undergoing mandatory quarantine.

Authorities of  Uganda are badly trying to track down 84 passengers who were on an Ethiopian Airlines flight with a man who earlier  tested positive for coronavirus.

The MOH (Ministry Of Health)  has frantically  called on the travellers to come forward for screening and treatment if found positive.

Previously on Saturday, Uganda's health minister Ruth Jane Aceng had said all of them were in quarantine and could easily be monitored unfortunately that  was not the case and the passengers had been let go and told to self-isolate because the quarantine areas  were filled to capacity and thats why the government suggested the use of the now evacuated schools.

Uganda currently according to the Health Ministry has only recorded 1 Case of Covid 19 who is 36-year-old  male who arrived from Dubai at 2 a.m. Saturday (2300GMT), aboard Ethiopian Airlines presenting  symptoms of high fever and poor appetite and he is under treatment according to authorities, however this doesn't mean we are safe but rather the opposite.

Basing on 84 people that were left to undergo self isolation may get into physical contact with another 100 people who in return will also get into contact with other  people resulting into tremendous  desaster for Uganda.

This  should act as a clear reminder  and request  to all Ugandans to play their part by prudently following the suggested guidelines by experts  because currently the only cure we have for the deadly virus is behavior therapy, if we fail this could hit us way so bad basing on the way it has hit countries with better health standards.
