Alien Skin has once again proved that when it comes to the Ugandan music industry, he is and will always be a game changer.
Promoter Vincent decided to book musician Alien Skin to perform at his event after a while of bad mouthing him. Vincent had earlier said he would never book a musician like Alien Skin because he is weak at music and he doesn’t even deserve to be called an artiste.
After a while however, he realized that people loved Alien Skin's music and he decided to bow respectfully, therefore inviting Alien Skin to perform for him. Alien Skin gladly accepted the offer and even got paid a deposit for performing at the show.
When Vincent went to Fangone Forest to pick Alien Skin's drop in order to announce his show however, Alien Skin switched up on him because he had then heard every bad thing that Vincent had ever said about him before booking him. Alien Skin’s pride must have been hurt considering the fact that he had agreed to perform for the same Vincent who was calling him untalented.
When Vincent appeared at Fangone Forest, he was not left the same. Vincent came out and cried foul in the media, stating that Alien Skin and his gang had beaten him up and taken his personal belongings as well. This is when Alien Skin vowed never to pay back the initial deposit he had gotten to perform for Vincent.
Well, according to a video that has been circulated via You Tube by SMX media, Alien Skin has decided to clear his name and pay back the money that he got from Promoter Vincent. According to Alien Skin, he chose to let go of everything and return the money in good faith because he will never be doing business with a man who was speaking terrible things about him.
“This is what they call a mutual separation. I have returned your money so my reputation can be clean. I will not do business with you because you have double standards.” Alien Skin stated
Upon receiving the money, Vincent was seen counting it to make sure it was the right amount, after which he swiftly left the Fangone forest base.
The truth is, very many Ugandan musicians would not return the deposit once wronged by a promoter but Alien Skin has decided to play by the book and clear his reputation given that news tabloids had started labeling him a petty thief who wanted to take free money without working for it.
