Clever J is a Ugandan musician that once did fade but has recently been tying his best to get back on the grid. In his aid is newly founded star Alien Skin who is hell bent on ensuring that faded musicians do get their shine once more!
Clever J has an upcoming concert which is slated for this weekend on August 4, at the Lugogo KCCA Grounds. The concert is dubbed “The return of Clever J Eddogo Lyafuluka". The show is being pushed by Fangon Forest under breakout star Alien Skin who recently found fame.

But knowing the struggle it takes to regain lost clout on the music scene, the once faded star is not doing quite well for his come back. Legendary artiste Clever J spent the better part of Tuesday afternoon in downtown Kampala vending tickets for his upcoming concert.
On Tuesday, he took to the crowded downtown Kampala to rally support for his upcoming concert. With a megaphone, he announced this concert Downtown and also started auctioning off tickets. He was supported by Abitex, Bajjo and of course a few friends. Clever J passed though parts of Owino Market, Container Village, Kafumbe Mukasa and surrounding areas, vending tickets to the show.
Even when he is trying his best for his come back, it seems like his concert has already been met with lots of criticism by some entertainment gurus. One of the critics is former NBS and Sanyuka TV presenter Isaac Kawalya Kaiyz who predicted two weeks ago that the show would be a flop. According to Kayz, people would never flock Clever J's venue unless it is for free.
“Clever J cannot get 7000 people unless they are entering for free,” Kaiyz said in an interview.
