The singer so impassioned and nakedly personal that it feels impolite to overhear, as he tells of a story of how he was dumped by a cheating lover. Unlike most love stories where one might get violent he wishes her well in the new found relationship and hopes she doesn’t keep cheating.
Seriously impressive, unashamedly grown-up a song from, and for, the soul. His vocals don’t disappoint as he surely develops into a better vocalist in each of his releases. There is nothing really nerve cracking in the choice of beats but concluding his song is a voice of a video Jokey VJ advising his listeners about love possibly a highlight for mostly his fanatics.
Still, there’s always the feeling that the new generation RNB male artists sound the same, no matter the quality of his songwriting and singing. Could Victor Ruz edge out of his comfort zone and give listeners an acute vision on more clear terrain?
